The Everglades is one of the most famous ecological restoration efforts in the world. When the US Congress approved the Water Resources Development Act (WRDA) of , nested within this WRDA was the largest ($ billion) Federally supported authorization for environmental restoration in US history, the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan (CERP). Application of RCT method to the dramatically altered Everglades RS landscape to provided valuable inferences of likely HP regimes under alternate pattern configurations (e.g., higher Δz and modified ɛ) and restoration flow scenarios. These results help address a challenging knowledge gap about the ecohydrology of the predrainage Everglades.
